I have been so consumed in online social networking and "Getting My Name Out There" I have not been taking my own advice. To supplement my message by printing promotional and marketing pieces that target my selected market. OMG! What happened here? Nothing more than most of you I am sure. Can you relate to this? You probably have a laptop, PDA, Smart Phone, IPOD or an MP3 player. Maybe all of them. They play music and take pictures. Maybe listen to an audio book or music. You can get email, transfer funds in your bank account or check stocks all while sitting in the waiting room at your doctors office. How convienent is that?

Now I love electronic toys and gadgets as much as the next person. Just ask my wife, friends and co-workers. But I greatly value two of the five traditional senses that greatly impact the products and services I provide for my clients. Touch and sight. Ok so you can see the screen but its not really tangible. In todays high tech world computers start the creation process for printing but paper is the vehihcle that delivers the message. We turn a page in a catalog or brochure perhaps taking our time to take in the message and look at the picture of the product we are researching. Even putting it on a coffee table or other favorite reading venue to peruse at our leisure. Now thats what I call portability. Think about that. It's a presentation especially created for your next best client to enjoy and get value from. Printing delivers your message without the constraints of batteries or electricity when and where the recipient wants to. Are you effectively and completely communicating your message?
